WHITE SUNDAY

Oh what a beautiful sight
to wake up to on this Sunday morning.
When I looked out my kitchen window,
I just had to take some pictures.
If you click to enlarge the pictures,
you will see some birds.

Did you find the two cardinals in the above pine tree?
Hope you enjoyed my snow pictures.

Thats a pretty snow. looks wet and heavy. better to see all those red birds. We have not had any snow at all this year, only very light dustings and I mean light. I think we just may escape it this year. My poor mom and dad who are 5 hours south of me have been pounded by the ice and snow. Some of those folks down their were without power for 19 days. Not my folks though, they were out only 2 days, that was plenty. Hope this is the last of the snowy stuff for you. When I visited Walton's Mountain, I found a little lilly of the valley plant all grown up in the weeds and I plucked up one for me to take home. I shouldn't have done that probably, but they weren't taken care of them anyway and I wanted a flower growing in my yard that I could say I got from Walton's Mountain. The old school up there was a inspiration for me to model a bird house like. I will to a tutioral post about it on the 27 on this month when I partisipate in a trash to treasure link up. You will see what I am talking about when you see it if you have ever visited there.

Hi Shirley, I did the same thing. I went out about 9 a.m. and took pics. It was beautiful. We won't have too many snows left this winter, but I sure am looking for spring. Waiting to plant some flowers and sit on the porch in my wicker rocker and just let the day pass by doing nothing but that.

Beautiful pictures. Looks like the kind of stuff that will melt quickly - ours snows and sticks for 5 or six months - crunchy to walk on. I usually spend some time in the South during the winter, but this year it would have been a bad idea if I had expected warm weather. I have been watching Mardi Gras on line at NOLA.com - all the people wearing coats and ear muffs!!!! Happy Mardi Gras to you all.

Girl I just LOVED your pictures!
Is there anything more beautiful than a world covered by fresh new snow? Right now I don't think so....ask me in a few years and I hope I will be telling you the same. :)
I couldn't see the birds because I could not enlarge the picture. :(
But I do have a thing about cardinals....so of course I loved your flag.
Beautiful pictures girl!
