LOOK WHAT GREETED ME THIS MORNING!!

This morning when I sat down at my computer, I was blessed with a pretty sight just outside my window. During the night, we got three inches of snow. My husband had filled the feeders yesterday, since we knew the snow was coming. Visiting the feeders were cardinals, blue jays, doves, and juncos. The photo was taken through the window, so it's not a good photo. I wasn't able to get a shot with all of them there at once, but aren't the cardinals pretty!

What a pretty picture. I think there is nothing prettier than snow and cardinals. I finally bought a new 50 lbs of sunflower seeds. They finally got cheaper around here so I broke down and bought some. I spend way too much money on pet food already and the bird seed got to almost 28.00 a bag for sun flower seed. I don't way, must have been the high fuel prices to truck the stuff sround the country. I was so glad to see it and alot of everything else come down in price alittle bit. I guess the rtecession is good for a few things anyway. I have noticed a few magazines are priced cheaper now also. Hope you enjoy your snow, we are still waiting for the first one. gonna get really blistering cold again for sat.

The cardinals are really pretty. I've been trying to get some shots too, the birds aren't cooperating, tho. We need to buy more seeds, too.

Birds are pretty creatures but I'm afraid of them. Have a great weekend.

Now why can't I get a picture of cardinals in the snow?
