It's Almost Here!!

October! My absolute favorite month of the year!

I think October has always been my favorite month of the year. Fall has always been my favorite season of the year. Even as a child, I can remember loving Fall. Some special things about October are my wedding anniversary on the 8th (it will be number 42 this year!), my youngest daughter's wedding anniversary on the 31st (Halloween) and her birthday on the 23rd and her youngest daughter's birthday on the 22nd, fall vacation in the mountains, beautiful scenery of fall colors, decorating my home and yard and cooler weather. Some of my recent photos are posted, showing some signs of fall.

The fall aster
s, burning bush turning red, red dogwood berries, the chestnut trees are full of chestnuts, fallen chestnut on the ground, more fallen chestnuts, another fallen chestnut, evidence of a deer among the fallen chestnuts, yellow holly berries that will soon be turning red and fall wild flowers are in full bloom.

What's your favorite season?

Hi, You already know my favorite season is fall. There's too much work to keep up with in the summer and winter is too cold. I like spring, but hate it when a late frost comes. Keep the pictures coming.

Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your nice comment. Yes, please keep coming back. I'll keep posting until I run out of ideas as I am not doing much crafting anymore. I like paper crafting now with all the computer help.
I like Spring best because it is so refreshing after all the cold weather and being stuck indoors so much. I think when the green leaves and green grass start popping everywhere it is so beautiful that everything seems to come back to life.
Blogging is a good hobby so keep blogging and you will soon have a lot of chapters in your "journal".

Hi Shirley, First off, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your wonderful comment. I just started blogging at the first of the year and still feel like I'm stumbbling around. But I have found out that if you don't know how to do something, just ask someone and they are always more than willing to help.

You'll find that the blogging community is like neighborhoods use to be, warm, friendly and willing to help their fellow blogger. Just stick with it and you'll get the hang of it.

Come back and visit any time. I already have you marked so I can come back and visit you.

Hope you have a pleasant evening and a great weekend.

Neat photos! I haven't had a chestnut is so long-would love to have some. I love all the seasons-by the end of one-I'm ready for the next one to come!

Hi mom! I like summer! Summer is hot, lazy and time for vacation. Winter is too cold and everyone seems to stay sick. Spring is just too wet, with up and down temperatures, you never know how to dress. Fall is nice, but again with the up and down temperatures, allergies, back to school, lots of birthdays, and anniversaries (you forgot mine is also in October), just too much to do to enjoy.
And as always your pictures are great!

Thank you all for your comments. It is always good to hear from you. And Terri, you are my youngest daughter and if you will look again, you will see that I included your birthday in my posting.

I know you included my birthday, but you didn't include my anniversary.
