October! My absolute favorite month of the year!
I think October has always been my favorite month of the year. Fall has always been my favorite season of the year. Even as a child, I can remember loving Fall. Some special things about October are my wedding anniversary on the 8th (it will be number 42 this year!), my youngest daughter's wedding anniversary on the 31st (Halloween) and her birthday on the 23rd and her youngest daughter's birthday on the 22nd, fall vacation in the mountains, beautiful scenery of fall colors, decorating my home and yard and cooler weather. Some of my recent photos are posted, showing some signs of fall.
The fall asters, burning bush turning red, red dogwood berries, the chestnut trees are full of chestnuts, fallen chestnut on the ground, more fallen chestnuts, another fallen chestnut, evidence of a deer among the fallen chestnuts, yellow holly berries that will soon be turning red and fall wild flowers are in full bloom.
